BREAKING: Ravens star loses more than 80% of his NFL playoff paycheck

Oh man, let me tell you about Marlon Humphrey’s wild weekend. The divisional round of the playoffs is happening, and the tension is sky-high. The Ravens are battling it out with the Bills, and it’s a nail-biter, right? The score is close, and everyone’s on the edge of their seats.

Now, Humphrey, who’s a total beast on the field, makes this huge play with just about 30 seconds left in the first half. He goes in for a hit on Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Well, he looks to go helmet-to-helmet, and while shockingly, no penalty was called during the game, the NFL didn’t take too kindly to it later.

Fast forward to Saturday, and boom! NFL drops the news—Humphrey got slapped with a $ 45,020 fine! Can you believe it? That’s the most hefty fine out of all the guys who played in the divisional round! That’s a major hit to the wallet, especially since it takes a big chunk out of his playoff paycheck.

So let me break this down: during the regular season, this dude was raking in about 653,000aweek—like, ridiculous, right? But for the playoffs, all players get the same fixed pay check of 54,500. And here’s the kicker: with that fine, Humphrey walks away with just 17.4% of his paycheck!

He found out about the fine from a tweet by NFL insider Tom Pelissero—what a surprise to wake up to.  And to make matters even funnier, the only player who came close to that fine was Jameson Williams from the Lions, who got hit with $ 25,325 for, wait for it, making an obscene gesture after scoring a touchdown. Talk about a tough week for some players.

I guess when you don’t have a agent you find out you get fined on social media 🤔 https://t.co/rhK2qJIKvc

But here’s the twist: even after all that drama, Marlon is actually rooting for Josh Allen and the Bills to win against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. He’s like, “We can’t let the Chiefs keep running the table. Someone has to stop them!” And honestly, respect for that attitude.

I have no reason of saying this other than being a hater. The Bills or whatever NFC team gotta beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them keep getting away with this
