Although the Maui Invitational didn’t go as the UNC basketball program had hoped, Seth Trimble continued his strong play against tough competition.

In recognition of his contributions, Trimble was awarded a spot on the 2024 Maui Invitational All-Tournament Team. To conclude the Maui Invitational, Trimble made key plays in an overtime game against Michigan State. Notably, overtime wouldn’t have been possible without Trimble’s three-pointer at the end of regulation to tie the game.

Throughout the contest, Trimble recorded 9 points, four steals, three assists, two rebounds, and a block. Although his scoring dipped in this final game of a demanding stretch, his contributions remained vital despite not being the team’s primary scorer.

The growth Trimble has displayed this season is remarkable, and his hard work and dedication to his craft are clearly paying off. On Thanksgiving, UNC basketball fans are thankful that Trimble chose to withdraw his name from the transfer portal to return to North Carolina, as his development has been crucial for this year’s team.
